Motherfuckers. Eat shit and kill yourself.
I just looked at my bank info online to find that my credit card limit has been reduced by 90% without so much as a phone call. After much work punching keypads and talking to machines, being fucked around by Wells Fargo for over an hour and paying $8 for a credit report, I've discovered the following. My credit report has 0 potentially negative items and shows no missed or late payments on anything ever. However my score has gone down and as a result they yanked my card. Why did my score go down? After dealing with the dregs of the planet on the phone, the final answer is that my balance was too high.

So lets get this straight. You give me a card with a limit, I never go over that limit and I pay my payments on time and you fuck up my credit score because I'm borrowing an amount you agreed to lend me. What the flaming motherfucking fucking fuck is that?

Fuck this bank and fuck this country. You can all kiss my fucking ass. It's no wonder everybody hates you.

Yes, and it is based on the percentage of your credit you are utilizing, so them lowering your limit will raise that percentage and therefore lower your credit score further, causing more people to lower your credit limits. it is a vicious cycle.

I'm stuck in this loop where I keep paying down my debt and people respond by instantly lowering my limits so I'm still at a high utilization so I can't raise my credit score.

I learned one thing from my old man. When you shout and swear and threaten, people do what you want. My limit was restored within an hour of this post. I think I made a Russian cry.

yeah because it was that russian dude's fault that the system is shit. you'd get the same results much faster with one sentence; "please inform the manager that I'd like to close all four of my accounts immediately please".

i have never once raised my voice in my bank, and i have never once left with anything less than everything i wanted. in shouting and swearing and threatening you aren't actually pursuing the best line to achieve your extant goals. you are shouting and swearing and threatening people to alieviate yourself of the emotions that have arisen in you because of how you interact with the world. your intention may be to get the problem fixed but your actions do not correspond with this, your actions betray your primary need to shed the emotional outcropping.

sometimes a display of anger is appropriate and effective, most of the time it isn't. in every encounter with everything outside yourself, whether it is animate or not, you must ask yourself what is it that i must do in order to make the other do what i want it to. certainly you can drive a screw in with a hammer if you hit it hard enough for long enough but the end result will be far less appealing than if you turned it gently in the direction of its thread.

you're a poker player, you should know enough about how people work to be able to convince them to do what you want because they think it should be done, rather than because they're under some external obligation to.

It was fun and it worked. I like driving in a screw with a hammer - it gets the job done and adds the satisfaction of hitting something harder than you need to.

pretty farcical. i guess your exposure in the case of fraud has been reduced but a letter would have helped.

i can't be doing with credit. there are far too many ways for shit to get on your credit report without you doing anything wrong and it's so hard to clean them off. shylocking is a criminal activity unless a bank does it, just bollocks, i have no interest in playing that game. i have a credit card for two reasons (i) in case i suddenly need to get on a plane to the other side of the world where i will also pay for a life saving operation and (ii) to order pizza on the internet, because your food gets cold while you're waiting for the delivery boy in all the heavy bike gear and the massive gloves to fumble with currency.

but what really boils my piss is direct debits, and the fact that you're handed anything up to a 10% penalty for not allowing a company that is employed to provide you with a service or commodity at your discretion free reign to suck whatever they like out of your bank account and make it a cunt to recover. this is probably the strongest argument you can present in favour of a christian God. burn motherfuckers.
