The more I learn about quantum physics, the less credibility I give to atheism.

Just because we invented God, doesn't mean that he doesn't exist.

I sometimes think that the entire universe is just god waking up, and you and I are its way of trying to get a look at itself.

I think that a probability wave is a case where we aren't observing something, so the UI doesn't bother to "draw" it ... and there's a little bug in the code somewhere that causes interference.

This world is an illusion and it was created by a higher power.

That's exactly what it means though... now, in all honesty, I don't know very much about quantum physics. But I have read the bible almost in it's entirety and that has made me atheist.

You don't have to be an atheist just because you think that Christianity is bunk.

I don't follow any organized faith at all. I just believe that there is a supernatural, superior power.

Oh it's not like that - trust me.

I have explored many different religions, from Buddhism to Scientology... I just haven't found one for me. So I don't really believe.

The Volgate is a very poor translation, from what I've been told.

Go back to old Greek, at least.

atheist because you believe there isnt a god, or because you havent considered the subtle differences between it and agnosticism?

Read about the double slit experiment and the herculean efforts that people have undertaken to break it. Not only does a particle "know" whether or not it'll be observed, but it doesn't really exist if it isn't being watched.

If a tree falls in the forrest and nobody is there, it doesn't follow a path to the ground. It is merely generated at the point of impact, which itself is determined using a random number generator.

I took Quantum Physics, we went over the double slit experiment.

I still don't see how that leads to you believing in a God.

Most ateists are just as ignorant as most theists.

I think that any kind of devotion to agnosticism must involve quests for the poles of theism and atheism.

most atheists are theists, just theists without hope or purpose.

theists may at least snatch a glipse from time to time, even surrounded in pomp and dogma, atheists are essentially souls in stasis.

the rest are logicians who haven't made it all the way yet.

i find agnosticism extremely comfortable on the understanding that this is a question to which the answer is unknowable, and unnecessary. if anything its a distraction from "the truth".

Most claims of atheism are acts of refutation against evidence for theism.

"Jesus did simple magic tricks that anybody can do with some scotch tape and a piece of string," kind of arguments.

How do you explain the double slit as anything, but a glitch in the UI?

just because we dont understand it yet doesnt mean god is in the machine, it just means we don't understand it yet. indeed, it is just as likely (if not more so) that a giant superturtle born in the future is interfering with our experiments in the present in order to prevent man from understanding how matter behaves at a quantum level.

however, you've probably had yourself a spiritual moment, i'd encourage you to nurture it :)
